Does Google give PR2 to a new website on the 2nd day of its launch?? I heard "NO".
But yes, it's 2/June today and Google has already given PR2 to Bing.com. It's alexa rank has crossed 36,000 which is obvious but Google PR2??!!
Microsoft launched new search engine bing.com on 28th, After that Google didn't update PR, is google specially update any particular site for PR?.
I noticed the same on the keyword 'video chat' as well. The day Google launched its service of video chat from within Google chat, it started coming #1 on Google SERPs, although today it shows #2 sometimes.
This is amazing!!!

This makes sense :D
Your observation is very close to the reality of what they are thinking on their couch .
But I also noticed this . Thank you for telling me about this
Bing.com is not a new domain name, its much older and regestred on 1996 !!
Have you checked its PR before ??
and yes Google do special updates for special sites, Google employees get payment for this work !! and about the SERP, SERP may change on any day, if your site is authority site then u will be on top for special keyword within a hour !!
Hello Chetan,
When I wrote that how can Google give PR2 to a site on another day of its launch, it aptly meant that its PR was not 2 the other day. To clearly tell you, 'It's PR was 0 yesterday.'
Thanks for the comment.
But still it is the fact that Google do update PR for special sites !!
and i dont think so the domain with such amazing age with have PR 0 before. i am expert in buy sale and trade of domain names :) It must have PR before.
if it is going to get popular then Google will also have to give a higher PR, even to their competitors!!
